Bossa Banda & Marco Antonio da Costa Trio

Bossa Banda is a group of female singers with very unique voices and passion for Brazilian music, especially bossa nova and samba. The group was founded eight years ago and so far there were many changes with regard to members and artistic guidance. However, in the past three years they’ve been collaborating with Marco Antonio da Costa, a Brazilian from Natal who lives in Vienna. Besides teaching them about Brazilian rhythms through vocal percussions and complex harmonics, he always introduces innovations into bossa nova and samba standards.

Bossa Banda will perform with Marco Antonio da Costa (vocalist, guitar), and two more exceptional musicians: Zvonimir Šestak from Croatia (bass) and Žiga Šercer from Slovenia (drums).
