B’s FUNstallation

B’s FUNstallation (short from Baja’s) is a band which consists of six Croatian jazz musicians of the younger generation founded by the trumpet player Zvonimir Bajević in spring 2012. The project came naturally after many years of friendship and playing together in JMI (Jeunesses Musicales Croatia) Jazz Orchestra. Later on they continued playing together as members of the Croatian Radio and Television Jazz Orchestra where most of them still play.

In the light of both personal and professional circumstances that young musicians face, as well as attaining musical maturity, it was only natural to gather in a smaller, more flexible group, in which the musical preferences and creative impulses of all the members would be accepted and encouraged.

In November 2014, the band recorded their first studio album, Sixto, which was released in May 2015 by an independent label Destinatio Tokyo, featuring eight original compositions. Their second studio album will be recorded in the course of 2018.
