Ardemus Quartet



Ever since it was founded in September 2014, the Ardemus Quartet had a serious of successful concerts in the Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium and Switzerland. Some of the venues they performed at are NedPho Koepel, Muziekgebouw i Royal Concertgebouw concert halls in Amsterdam, Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, St Donatus’ Church in Zadar and Konzerthaus in Berlin.

The Ardemus Quartet won the first prize at the 13th International Competition for Young Musicians “Ferdo Livadić” in Samobor (2016), the second prize at the 4th International Competition for Young Musicians “Boris Papandopulo” in Zagreb (2015), special award of the Jury at the  Storioni Toonzaal Competiton in Den Bosch (2016) and the audience award at the Grachten Festival Conservatorium Concours in Amsterdam (2016).

In May 2017, the Ardemus Quartet advanced to the semi-final stage of one of the most prestigious chamber music competitons, Osaka International Chamber Music Competition in Japan. 

To further refine their skills, the Ardemus Quartet studies at the Netherlands String Quartet Academy at the Amsterdam University of Arts with Sven Arne Tepl and Arno Bornkamp. They also work, on regular basis, with the leading music teachers and musicians such as Eberhard Feltz, Luc-Marie Aguera, Arno Bornkamp, Vincent David and Jean-Denis Michat.
