Latica Anić & Lovre Marušić

Latica Anić was seven years old when she started taking cello lessons with Mihovil Karuza. She actively participated in masterclasses given by internationally renowned cellists such as Miklós Perényi, Jérôme Pernoo, László Fenyö, Jens Peter Maintz, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Gary Hoffman and others. On a scholarship from the MusikundJugend foundation she attended seminars held by Valter Dešpalj at the International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Since 2010 Latica studied under Valter Dešpalj at the Music Academy in Zagreb and International Music Academy in Principality of Liechtenstein. In 2014/2015 she was an Erasmus student at Hochschulefür Musik in Karlsruhe in the class of László Fenyö. She earned her degree in Zagreb in 2016 and in October 2016 she went to study with Raphäel Merlin at the regional conservatory Boulogne-Billancourt in Paris. She won a number of national and international competitions. Recently she won the first prize at the International Cello Competition in Liezen, Austria and at the 3rd International Competition for Young Musicians “Boris Papandopulo” in Zagreb.



Lovre Marušić took his first piano lessons from Prof. Rozarija Samodol in Omiš, where he was born. Following an invitation from a distinguished Russian pianist Natalia Troull, he went to study at the Music School of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he graduated in 2011. He continued with his piano studies at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, first with Ruben Dalibaltayan and later on with Ljubomir Gašparović, with whom he earned his Master’s degree. He went on with his post-graduate studies at the Hochschulefür Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar under Grigory Gruzman. He has won a number of Awards at well-known piano competitions. Besides that, during his studies he won the Dean’s Award and the Rector’s Award for exceptional achievements.
